Hemimorphite
Hemimorphite, is a sorosilicate mineral which has been
mined from days of old from the upper parts of zinc and
lead ores, chiefly associated with smithsonite. It was
often assumed to be the same mineral and both were
classed under the same name of calamine. In the second
half of the 18th century it was discovered that there were
two different minerals under the heading of calamine - a
zinc carbonate and a zinc silicate, which often closely
resembled each other.
The silicate was the more rare of the two, and was
named hemimorphite because of the hemimorph
development of its crystals. This unusual form, which is
typical of only a few minerals, means that the crystals are
terminated by dissimilar faces. Hemimorphite most
commonly forms crystalline crusts and layers, also
massive, granular, rounded and reniform aggregates,
concentrically striated, or finely needle-shaped, fibrous
or stalactitic, and rarely fan-shaped clusters of crystals.
Some specimens show strong green fluorescence in
shortwave ultraviolet light (253.7 nm) and weak light pink
fluorescence in longwave UV.
Pearls
Throughout history, the pearl, with its warm inner glow
and shimmering iridescence, has been one of the most
highly prized and sought after gems. In ancient Rome,
pearls were considered the ultimate symbol of wealth and
social standing. The Greeks held the pearl in high
esteem for both its unrivaled beauty and its association
with love and marriage.

Bali beads are Sterling silver beads which are produced
in Bali,on a small island in Indonesia from a  community
in Celuk, These artists are specialized silver craftsmen
from generations, and They are known for their
granulation and wire work decoration. They  use very
simple tools and make the silver entirely by hand. They
mix the fine pure silver,  copper and metals that will melt
when heated with a torch. After that, the silver will be
poured into a mold to create a sheet or a wire. The silver
is then cut into different shapes and sizes. After it is
formed, they will be cleaned by a solution and dipped
into an oxidixing solution which fills the silver with a dark
colour and highlights the images on a bead.
A limited amount of bali silver is made by casting
because of the nature of the design. Some of designs
also needs both hand skill and the casting process.
Although it is casted, the material used is still 92.5
sterling silver or better known as 925.

Care Recommendations:
Pearls should not be exposed to water, cleansers,
excessive perspiration or prolonged sunlight. They
may be cleaned with a soft cloth.

Sterling silver will tarnish over time. To clean, use a
polishing cloth, commercial cleaner or sprinkle a fair
amount of dry baking powder on a soft cloth. Rub
carefully to avoid scratching stones or glass
components. When done, shake the powder off.
